Season 2012 - Draws
The 2012 season is fast approaching for all competitions that the Burleigh Bears are involved with.
The Intrust Super Cup's season will be exciting, especially come Round 7, The Men of Leagues Rivalry Round when the Burleigh Bears will take on Tweed Heads in what is always an intense battle.
A 'Country Week' in Round 17 will also be introduced with all matches to be played out at regional grounds. Intrust Super Cup General Manager, Jamie O'Connor said
'This new Country Round is just one of the ways we are attempting to take the game away to places that might not get to see much rugby league, let alone games of this quality.'
Another change in 2012 is the new finals system that will only feature the top five teams, instead of six.

Titans to play pre-season trial match on Gold Coast
The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans will bring their pre-season campaign back to the Gold Coast for season 2012 with a full scale pre-season trial match against the Brisbane Broncos set down for February.
In what will mark the club’s first pre-season trial match to be held on the Gold Coast since 2008, the Jetstar Titans will take on arch rivals the Brisbane Broncos at Pizzey Park, Miami on Saturday, February 11.
The Jetstar Titans’ last pre-season match on the Gold Coast was the first ever match played at Skilled Park against the Wests Tigers prior to the official opening of Skilled Park in 2008.
The Broncos trial match will follow on from a massive week of rugby league on the Gold Coast for the third annual Harvey Norman All Stars clash between the Indigenous and NRL All Stars at Skilled Park on Saturday, February 4.
Jetstar Titans Head Coach John Cartwright said it was exciting to be able to play a pre-season trial match on home turf during the build-up to season 2012.
“It’s great for us to be playing a trial match at home and it’s great for rugby league on the Gold Coast. Over the last few years we’ve played trial matches in places such as Darwin, Cairns and Coffs Harbour so to be playing a trial match on the Gold Coast in front of our own supporters will really add to the build-up heading into the 2012 season,’’ said Cartwright.
