Bears raise money for Charities and local families

This Weekend will see the Burleigh Bears Rugby League Club raise money for Childhood Cancer  Support and 3 families within the Burleigh Bears Community who are doing it tough with a family member suffering from a form of Cancer. The families who will benefit from money raised this weekend include the Dietz, Camino and Mackay families. The weekend will kick off with the annual Burleigh Bears Ladies Charity Luncheon on Friday . Over $80,000 has been raised for charities over the last 7 years from this event as well as the players jersey auction.   On Sunday ( 14 June)the Burleigh Bears Intrust Super Cup team will play in pink against Norths Devils in the Channel 9 TV game. After the game the players Jersey will be auctioned with proceeds going to Cancer Childhood Support and the 3 families.
